Since its inception in 2008, Global Development Foundation (GDF), a leading NGO in India, has steadily evolved into a catalyst for social transformation, touching lives across education programs, mental health, gender equity, child development, environmental awareness, and community well-being. Beginning with a counselling centre and scholarships for girl children, GDF expanded its footprint year after year—conducting hundreds of school and college workshops on career guidance, leadership, life skills, and mental health; supporting parents and teachers; and delivering diagnostic and counselling services to thousands of individuals.
Over the years, GDF developed dedicated focus areas addressing governance, crisis response, survivor support, child growth, elderly care, environmental stewardship, and mental well-being—each designed to meet evolving social challenges with sensitivity and professional care. As a socially committed NGO in India, its initiatives are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring that its interventions contribute to inclusive growth, social equity, and long-term community resilience. Flagship initiatives like Global Creative Kids pioneered early intervention and neurobehavioral support for children with special needs, while widespread awareness programs reached communities across multiple Indian cities.
In 2025, GDF is revamping itself with a renewed vision and structural strengthening, embarking on a future-focused journey with its upcoming Age Care Well-Being Project, aimed at promoting dignity, mental wellness, and holistic care for the elderly—affirming GDF’s commitment as the Best NGO in India to support individuals at every stage of life while advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
