Our story

Three decades of service, now devoted to our elders

Dwarka is home to a large community of senior citizens who too often face loneliness and unattended health concerns. Recognising this, the Rotary Club of Delhi Janak and the Global Development Foundation are establishing a specialised wellness centre — with care that is compassionate, accessible and affordable.

Over the years, the Foundation has run welfare programmes, health-outreach camps and community-support activities that improve the quality of life of vulnerable populations. Agewell is that commitment, focused entirely on the golden years.

Global Development Foundation (GDF)

Established in 2008 to promote community well-being, social development, and accessible healthcare for all. In 2013, GDF launched the Agewell senior-citizen centre in Dwarka, inaugurated by Shri Gulab Singh, MLA, and has nurtured it ever since.

Rotary Club of Delhi Janak

A vibrant part of the Rotary family in District 3011, chartered on 13 June 1990 with 65 members. Every year, the club runs multiple community projects across healthcare, education, the environment, and mental health.

Services & specialities

Four pillars of whole-person elder care

From check-ups to companionship, every service at the centre is designed for comfort, dignity and ease of access.

Active ageing

Group Activities & Health-Promotion Programmes

Periodic group sessions for registered elders keep bodies moving, friendships growing and spirits high — because health is as much about connection as it is about medicine.

Early detection

Comprehensive Geriatric Screening

Every registered elder receives a baseline geriatric check-up, so hidden health risks and functional decline are identified early — before they become crises.

Mental-Health & Cognitive Screening

Depression, anxiety, and cognitive impairment are common in older age — and highly treatable when noticed. The centre offers a kind, confidential first step toward help.
